Our small family run business is dedicated to helping our customer’s dreams become a reality “one piece at a time”. Jimmy (owner) was raised in and around trucks his whole life. He drove as an employee and became an owner operator in 1997. Trucking has always been in Jimmy’s blood and he has passed that same passion down to our 2 adults sons, Collen and Ian. Several years back a dream for our family was fulfilled when Jimmy purchased a 1981 A model, tore it down, bought new frame rails and with the help of our boys and a few friends over 2 years time (still while trucking) he built that truck from the ground up. That is when J. Ferrell Custom Trucks LLC was born. Jimmy stopped driving truck and started building them. Since then we have moved, built a shop and we have a small crew of guys that share our family’s passion and do an amazing job! Jimmy’s experience puts our company in a unique position to best serve our customers because Jimmy understands the desires our customers have for customization, he knows trucks and their eras, but he also respects what it takes to ensure a truck goes down the road safely and functionally.
